ABILENE, TEXAS - Easter will be observed in Abilene, just a bit differently this year.
While sanctuaries will be empty, the empty tomb will be celebrated, clergy is reminding their congregations, even as services are presented online and messages are not delivered live but already recorded.
Missing will be sunrise services and perhaps egg hunts after services.
Restaurants will be empty, too, of large family gatherings.
