Steve and Oddny Gumaer started Partners Relief and Development in response to the needs of refugees and displaced people from Burma, and now in the Middle East, as well. Their mission is to demonstrate, through holistic action, God’s love to children and communities made vulnerable by war in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other conflict zones. |

My name is Chaung Klane and I have been working in Partners Mae Sot office for four and a half years. My role is to oversee all of the children homes in different refugee camps and work for the CARE project. I purchase and deliver hygiene pack to the children homes, plan fun activaties with the children, and prepare for the annual Christmas parties in the children’s home. I have also been helping other departments as well, taking patients to the hospital and helping to host teams and individuals when they come to Mae Sot and visit the camps ...
