MARFA, TEXAS - Four area AEP linemen have been dispatched to Corpus Christi in response to damages wrought by Hurricane Harvey on the region’s power supply.

Marfa AEP employees George Salgado, Mando Hernandez, and Eddie Pallarez – along with Alex Jimenez of Presidio – joined a 15-man crew comprised of other linemen from San Angelo and McCamey. Pallarez is supervising the crew.

According to Pallarez, the linemen left Marfa on Friday afternoon and began work on repairing the downed lines, which left around 219,000 customers without power ...
