SAN ANGELO, TEXAS - The Texas Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy will be in San Angelo Oct. 13-14, and organizers are hoping to leave some bright new smiles behind, as they aim to provide dental care for hundreds of underserved Concho Valley residents.
Local dental professionals, headed by Dr. Kelly Sawyer, will be participating, and organizer Teresa Whitley said they will need a few hundred folks willing to lend a hand.
Whitley works as a Wesley Nurse at First United Methodist Church in Mertzon, and said the massive two-day effort aims to help 700 to 1,000 underserved Concho Valley residents with dental care ...
