SONORA, TEXAS - A family in Sonora is sharing their story after heavy rains flooded their home, and many of their neighbors’ homes.

Crystal Villanueva’s family has lived in Sonora for generations. And like her parents and grandparents, she and her husband are raising their five children in the small town.

But on [September 21], almost everything the families have worked for, was damaged by flood waters ...

Thank you. As one of the volunteers I just wanted to say Thank you Odessa for the 53 ft of supplies the WERE very much appreciated. Went to good use. Also Midland and everyone the are who Brought food supplies ect. Still a long road ahead will not qualify for fema help. So check Sonora flood Relief for more information on where to send donations.
