ALMATY, KAZAKHSTAN – Almaty, Kazakhstan—July 12, 2018) A Kazakh volunteer organization called Atajurt has been quietly providing assistance to Chinese students who fear imprisonment if they return to China.
Since winter break, the Xinjiang police have detained 89 students from Xinjiang who attend universities in Kazakhstan.
