ABILENE, TEXAS - When the work is finished, water will bubble from the top of a limestone fountain in the shape of a cross in the First Central Presbyterian Church meditation garden.

If Dale Higginbotham were alive to see what was being done with his creation, he would be so pleased, his wife, Doreta, said. The Higginbothams owned a limestone quarry in Lueders until selling it in 2009, about the same time Dale built the cross-shaped fountain ...
