ABILENE, TEXAS - The theme of Tuesday's Abilene Gives, a 24-hour fundraiser to support nonprofits that serve the community and the area, is the hashtag #NowMoreThanEver.
That's a reflection of the current COVID-19 crisis and just how much this year's crop of 138 nonprofits need donors, said Katie Alford, president and CEO of Community Foundation of Abilene.
Anyone can give online at abilenegives.org, with a minimum donation starting at $10 ...
