ODESSA-MIDLAND, TEXAS - Looking over the most recent menu for Angel Food Ministries, Janet Taylor commented on some of the newer additions, such as the the "Just 4 Me - After School" boxes that include fruit and vegetables or other kid-friendly snacks.

"It's all pre-cooked so the kids can come home from school and just pop it in the microwave or just eat it," she said.

The "convenience meals" - frozen dinners with entrees such as chicken parmesan and Swedish meatballs - are "handy for lunches," Taylor said.

As host site director for Angel Food Ministries at Christian Church of Midland, Taylor sees the faces of the people the ministry helps.
