In the News ... "West Texans to join people around the globe in 'prayer for the world'"

ODESSA-MIDLAND, TEXAS -
This Sunday, several West Texas congregations will join people around the world in prayer.

Now in its 10th year, Global Day of Prayer began in South Africa after Christian businessman Graham Power organized a day of repentance and prayer at a rugby stadium in Cape Town. By last year the event had grown to include 220 countries around the world.
