Midland Group Reports Tiananmen Square Leader Embraces Christian Faith, Freedom

The China Aid Association is a non-profit Christian organization - based in Midland, Texas - with a mission to uncover and reveal the truth about religious persecution in China, focusing especially on the unofficial church. They do this, they explain in their website, by exposing the abuses, encouraging the abused and equipping the saints to advance the kingdom of God throughout China.

"BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – More than 20 years ago, a young woman named Chai Ling mourned the death of political and economic reformer Hu Yaobang, a symbol of freedom and hope for the forward-thinking students of China. Hu's funeral, held on April 22, 1989 seven days after his death, was attended by 50,000 students."
