The Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. The stories in the 2012 Mission Yearbook were gathered around the prayer of Paul for the Colossians, that these faithful brothers and sisters would bear fruit and grow in the knowledge of God (1:10).

KOREA (SOUTH) - Sook Hee Bae has been in Korea as a mission co-worker since 2000. In 2008 K.J. Bae joined with her in a team ministry and as the financial representative for the Presbyterian Church of Korea (PCK). Sook Hee has worked with the Women Ministers' Association (WMA) of the PCK to start two shelters: the Good News Shelter for victims of domestic violence and Another Home for run-away juveniles. She is grateful for the opportunities to see God at work at the shelters. Residents sometimes accept Jesus as their Savior and transform their lives while they stay there. Sook Hee believes that God called her as a missionary to comfort people in places where the Lord asks us to make peace and justice.
