The Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. KOREA (NORTH) - Korea was a unified country for 1,300 years until the end of World War II. The division along the 38th parallel in 1945 brought tragedies far beyond the 4 million casualties of the Korean War. As a result of the division, some 10 million Korean people have been separated from their loved ones, and I am one of them.
