From "I Am Second" ... Jarrett Stephens

After being victimized by a child molester, Jarrett Stephens grew up confused and terrified, filled with guilt and shame. For over 11 years he held in his secret, never sharing it with anyone. Then one day he shared it with his parents.

These were the parents who had kept him grounded despite his secret. They had seen him develop a relationship with Jesus. They had instilled the character in him to weather the long odds of growing up without long-term damage. Yet when the secret came out, the whole family needed to be reminded of just where to look for peace.
