ODESSA, TEXAS - The Rev. Eddie Humphries doesn’t just play music, he lives it, which led him down the proverbial long and winding road to the ministry.

While Humphries has been pastor of Odessa Gospel Lighthouse Church at 4800 N.E. Loop 338 for 22 years, he still considers himself primarily a musician; so preaching at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday doesn’t come easily. “It’s a war every weekend to get it together,” he said ...
