Midland College students light candles, offer prayers for All Soul’ Day/Dia de los Muertos

• All Saints Day Mass set for Wednesday

The Catholic Student Association had a table set-up Monday for All Souls Day/Dia de los Muertos. We invited people to light a candle in honor of their loved-one and drop a prayer request into the box.

We brought 72 candles, and every one of them was lit. It was a nice little community outreach .

We will be praying for the prayer requests at our All Saint’s Day Mass this Wednesday in the Dollye Neal Chapel.
