ABILENE, TEXAS - True to its name, Eternal Threads will live on, just not in Abilene.

The quaint store, tucked into a room of a historic building at North First and Walnut streets, will close Oct. 31. Soon after that, founder and executive director Linda Egle will move to her native Nebraska to be near family.

“It was a difficult decision for me,” Egle said, and was made over a period of time of prayer and discernment.

She is going out in style ...
