SAN ANGELO, TEXAS - As of Monday, the Catholic Diocese of San Angelo has sent $24,134.50 to assist the victims of the West, Texas explosion, according to a release from the diocese.
Immediately after this tragedy, Diocese of San Angelo Bishop Michael Pfeifer, OMI, sent a donation to assist all those affected and asked all the Catholic churches of the 29 counties that make up the Catholic Diocese to take up a special collection.
