• He has MS, but you wouldn’t know his struggle

ODESSA, TEXAS - His posture is straight when he sticks out his hand for a firm shake. He looks you in the eye when he speaks to you. Those who know him, describe 20-year-old Adrian Martinez as an old soul, awesome and gifted.

When you look at him, whether it’s hitting golf balls on the driving range or sitting in an accounting class at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, Martinez appears to be a healthy and active young man.

“He doesn’t write ‘MS’ on his shirt. Or say ‘oh this is what I have. I have a disability,’” Esther Seidel said, Martinez’s aunt. “Unless you know us, you would have no idea” ...
