ODESSA, TEXAS - Like a big, black cloud, a two-edged sword or a ghost in the dark of night, divorce is a bugaboo plaguing society and particularly the churches that see once-happy couples break up in tears and acrimony.

The Revs. Erik Stadler, Al Workman, Michael Rodriguez, Greg Morris and Mickey Eckles counsel both those who are considering divorce and people who have gone through with it, and they say both groups need God’s beneficence...
