ODESSA, TEXAS - University of Texas of the Permian Basin Associate Professor Chris Stanley opens a kiln to look at the 300 bowls and other pieces that his students and UTPB STEM Academy students for the Empty Bowls event to raise money for the West Texas Food Bank. Midland College and Odessa College each made 300 bowls for the charity. The Empty Bowls event will take place on Friday, January 25th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 25 at the West Texas Food Bank ...

MIDLAND/ODESSA, TEXAS - Friday, the West Texas Food Bank announced the 19th Annual Empty Bowls event scheduled for January 25, from 7-9 p.m. at the West Texas Food Bank Facility in Odessa.

Prior to the event, potters from University of Texas of the Permian Basin, Odessa College and Midland College have been hard at work producing the bowls which will be for sale the evening of the Empty Bowls event ...
