ChinaAid: "CA president submits statement to congressional hearing about Tiananmen Square anniversary"

WASHINGTON, D.C. – With the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre less than a week away, Bob Fu, China Aid founder and president, along with others, submitted testimonies (corrected on May 30, 2014) to the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations in a hearing titled “Tiananmen 25 Years Later: Six Leaders Who Were There.”

Fu called the Chinese government’s denial of the events that occurred on June 4, 1989, “unacceptable,” saying “the Chinese government must bring those responsible for human rights violations to justice.
