ODESSA, TEXAS - The Permian Basin Baptist District Association is one that many may not have heard of, but it has longstanding roots and is currently looking to revise and rebuild those roots for future generations.

In order to get the ball rolling on the resurgence of the PBBDA, the Rose of Sharon Church will be hosting “Solidarity with the Savior,” but there are much larger goals looming in the future for current PBBDA congress president, the Rev. Donald Flinn, Midland’s Shiloh Baptist Church pastor, Pastor Charles Sims, and the organization.

The four-day event will feature a pre-congress musical on Monday night, followed by a youth division, a minister’s conference and Christian leadership classes on Tuesday through Thursday.
