Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church fire under investigation

ODESSA, TEXAS - The Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church building was declared a "total loss" following a major fire Friday evening, Odessa Fire/Rescue officials said. "The call is still open," Battalion Chief Bobby Valles said. "It’s still under investigation.”

Pastor Donald Flinn said the congregation will meet at St. Matthews Baptist Church, 809 Barrett Ave., at 11 a.m. Sunday. No official temporary location has been finalized for the church, the pastor said ...
