SAN ANGELO, TEXAS - First Church of the Nazarene, 3354 W. Beauregard Ave, was originally organized in downtown San Angelo in April of 1928.

According to a Standard-Times article on the church’s history published in 1961, the group organized at Pilot Point, Texas, in 1908, and by 1928 members Charles and Marvin Harrison were sharing the message of the Nazarenes, which began with cottage prayer meetings ...
