As a kindergarten teacher in Norway, days tend to go by fast and it can be hard to get perspective on our everyday life. Something that has always been on my mind is that we need to take time to be grateful for the things we have, especially when we have so much more than most people in the world. The children here in Norway really have it all. They have warm and good quality clothes to protect them from the cold, wind, rain or snow. They get healthy, balanced meals which fill their bellies and give their bodies everything they need to grow and develop as they should. They have many caring and well-educated adults surrounding them, who take good care of them and are making sure that they are feeling safe, seen, and loved. They also get to learn new things each day and become well equipped for when they start school. Doesn’t this sound like something you would want for you and your children? Sadly, that is not the case for many families and children throughout the Middle-East and South-East Asia ...
