ODESSA/MIDLAND TEXAS - Seven years ago a family friend introduced the Sheltons to Rock the Desert.
Joe Dan and his sons figured it would be a good time but they had no idea it would turn into a family tradition, more specifically a guy’s getaway.
"We come out here for the music but mostly what we do is just come out here to hang out have a guy’s weekend sitting around the tent playing football, playing cards," Joe Dan said.
