Founder of Free Wheelchair Mission visits First Presbyterian to thank Midland donors

MIDLAND, TEXAS - During a 1979 summer vacation in Morocco, Don Schoendorfer saw something he would never forget. On a street crowded with people begging for food and money, a disabled woman was dragging herself through the dirt.
Schoendorfer and his wife seemed to be the only people who noticed the woman.
"You look around and say 'How can you let people live like this?'" he said.
