It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer.The stories for the 2011 Mission Yearbook were collected around General Assembly Mission theme “Grow Christ’s Church Deep and Wide” based on Matt. 28:18-20 and Mark 9:35. "The Chapel in the Mountains is in Anaktuvuk Pass. For days the people gathered. They came from across the Arctic, from across the state, and even from California. They all came by air because there are no roads to Anaktuvuk Pass. They came for the fiftieth anniversary of the Chapel in the Mountains."
