Midland Group Reports Chinese Court Upholds Christian's Sentence

The China Aid Association is a non-profit Christian organization - based in Midland, Texas - with a mission to uncover and reveal the truth about religious persecution in China, focusing especially on the unofficial church. They do this, they explain in their website, by exposing the abuses, encouraging the abused and equipping the saints to advance the kingdom of God throughout China.

Midland Group Reports Chinese Court Upholds Christian's Sentence

"XINJIANG, CHINA – ChinaAid has recently learned that the decision on the reconsideration of the case of Alimujiang, the Uyghur Christian of Xinjiang, was made by the Higher People’s Court of Xinjiang and a notice was sent in mid-February of 2011 to Alimujiang who is serving his sentence in No. 3 Prison of Xinjiang. The court ruled to uphold the original sentence of 15 years of imprisonment."
