• Parish remembers Francis Frey, late pastor of St. Mary’s

ODESSA, TEXAS - Monsignor Francis X. Frey, a beloved priest who served 25 years at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Odessa, died last week in Pennsylvania.

Bishop Michael Sis, who presides over the Diocese of San Angelo, said Frey served in parishes throughout West Texas.

“His love for people, his sense of humor, and his joyful humanity are well remembered,” Sis commented via email. “We are all blessed by the legacy of his many years of fruitful service” ...
