ODESSA, TEXAS - Churches are often thought of as longstanding institutions and in many ways that assertion would be correct. However, 75 years of service to one community is quite an accomplishment ... and Immanuel Baptist Church is prepping for that very milestone coming up on September 20.

In 1939 the congregation came together, made up of 70 people, in a parking lot on Sam Houston Street in south Odessa. From there the church has grown and evolved into what you see today and current pastor, Landon Coleman, said it is time to keep doing what has made the church successful in their 75 years of service.
