"1 TO 1" was started this past spring by a group of committed adults who are passionate about addressing the high school dropout rates. "1 TO 1" offers free one-on-one tutoring weekly to Midland High School students identified as at-risk of dropping out of school. Subjects include College Pre Math, Geometry, Algebra II, Chemistry, Physics, Spanish, French and English/Writing.
Tutoring begins Tuesday, September 16, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in Lynn (Fellowship) Hall at First Presbyterian Church-Midland (across Illinois Avenue from Midland High).
