WAW Wednesday ... "God's love is the deepest love to feel and the greatest love to give."

"The Word at Work is a ministry that mobilizes churches and individuals to answer God's call to minister to those in need," writes Rev. Tim Tam, Director of the Amarillo, Texas-based ministry. "Through our relationships, God reveals needs and opportunities for service. As we come along side the poor, new friendships develop and doors for ministry open. As we serve, God provides the resources to supply for the needs he reveals."

"God's love is the deepest love to feel and the greatest love to give."

Hello Friends,

I'm so thankful to share with you exciting progress and photos this week!

First -- many of you will recognize this worksite in Shawville -- it's Omega's Hill where teams have spent countless hours working to prepare for this day! The foundation was poured yesterday and plans for moving forward are prayerfully being made with Pastor Eugenia. We're grateful for God's vision for this church and for so many who have partnered in the work. Please keep Omega covered in prayer as they make the transition to this location.

This photo tells a beautiful story! Many of you will recognize Derrick & Pastor Phillipa Miller from Exodus Ministries in Belize below -- they Miller's made a trip to Hickory, NC last weekend to visit Discovery Church and share vision for a reverse mission trip that's planned for August 2017! This is a great example of relationships going deeper - the leadership team from Exodus is anxious to join Discovery in offering VBS Belize style this summer. Please pray that the youth who have raised funds for their Visa's will be approved for travel to the States.

(The Miller's are pictured here with Don & Susan Hefner and their daughters who have been instrumental in facilitating this "reverse mission trip.")

These are scenes from last week with our team from Christ the King Church in MI...Pouring floors in Valley of Peace, enjoying meals together and fellowship, and painting Marla's House of Hope. Pastor Larry Hayward presented a 3-day marriage seminar in Belmopan as well. It was a great week serving together!

\Thank you for your time - and for your prayers for our team currently on the ground in VOP where they are painting the preschool and having a great time with the VOP kids.

Groups start arriving next week - we're looking forward to all God has in store for us! Together we surely are the Word at Work!

Gratefullyt,

Mollie and the Staff
The Word at Work

EDITOR'S NOTE: Speaking from my own first-hand experience - working side-by-side with Tim, Kenny and our brothers and sisters in Belize - won't you give thoughtful, prayerful consideration to supporting the efforts of Tim, the Word At Work staff and their partners? Please please fill out this Commitment Card and return it to their office!

Also, remember that you can follow The Word At Work on their Facebook page!
