ABILENE, TEXAS - A good question to start a conversation with Sandra Hazelip might be, “What in the world have you not done?”
Her answer would be much shorter than telling all the unique things she has done, such as getting a medical degree at 43 and continuing her practice, now at 77. Or serving on medical mission trips to places such as China, Cambodia, Russia, and Zambia.
Or journeying on the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Trans-Mongolian Railway.
All kinds of awards could be given to Hazelip but last Saturday, she received one in particular that is dear to her ...
