ABILENE, TEXAS - At least once a month, Jewell Halford can be found at the Presbyterian Food Pantry in Abilene, helping families get food to stretch their budget and keep their families fed.

Halford downplays her contributions, saying she believes doesn’t do that much. But Abby Parham thinks differently, and sees Halford as a worthy Everyday Hero ...
