Faces of Children is an ecumenical prayer ministry under the auspices of First Presbyterian Church of Midland, Texas. Their mission is to initiate ministries of prayer for children in churches, communities, and neighborhoods. In doing so, they seek to provide an opportunity for people of God to join together, learn about children and their needs throughout the world, and celebrate Christ's love (especially as it relates to children).

Hi Friends,
Please join us in lifting up the needs of vulnerable children around the world. Faces Of Children will be meeting at 11:00 this Wednesday, December 5 - TODAY - for prayer. We are now meeting in the prayer closet at First Presbyterian Church of Midland, Texas. I hope you can join them to pray together for children in our community and around the world!
Dear Intercessors,
For our local-to-Midland intercessors, I'll see you in the prayer closet this Wednesday at 11:00 am for our prayer time. Afterwards, at noon, we're all invited to join our fellow intercessor, Pastor Hodge, and the First Pres staff for a Christmas meal in the Koin room. Pastor Hodge is bringing fried turkeys and pie, and the staff is supplying all the sides. Feel free to bring something or just bring yourself - there'll be more than enough I'm sure.
To all my intercessory friends; my apologies for failing to send an email this week. I didn't write my prayer email when I normally do because I was preparing for our foster parent night out, and then my weekend was filled with Christmas preparations and plays and gatherings; truthfully, I simply forgot to pause for this.
My intention had been to search out stories that reflected Christ's peace... perhaps you can join me in this searching and let me know what you discover? Where you see Christ's peace this season? Where you long for it's coming?
