ABILENE, TEXAS - A couple of years ago when Hattie Mae Washington was hospitalized, she told her great-grandson, who is a pastor, that she was waiting on the Lord to call her home.

Her great-grandson, De’Ori Newman, assured her that the Lord wasn’t ready for her just yet.

“When it’s time,” he told her, “he’ll let you know.”
