ODESSA, TEXAS - About 58 people from Terrace Hills Bible Church camped out [late last month] to celebrate the festival of Sukkot.
“Traditionally, Sukkot has been observed by Jewish people,” Terrace Hills Pastor Brian Serrano said while camping Monday night outside the church. “The church has kind of gotten away from that, but we celebrate all holidays that are in the Bible. We embrace everything from the Judaism side and Christian side that are found explicitly in scripture, but we’re trying to get away from the man-made traditions found in both sides.”
