MIDLAND, TEXAS -
“We don’t help these kids because they’re Catholic — we help them because we’re Catholic” are words that Jimmy Patterson will live by for the next eight days.
Patterson, director of communications for the Catholic Diocese of San Angelo, leaves today for an eight-day trip to Jordan to provide aid to displaced Syrian children. He is being sponsored by an anonymous donor from Midland and will be hosted by Catholic Relief Services.
