The Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. The stories in the 2013 Mission Yearbook were gathered around the question of Jesus to his disciples, “How many loaves have you?” from Mark 6:38. The book is filled with stories of God’s abundance in the face of overwhelming needs and a scarcity of resources.

MINUTE FOR MISSION: MINISTRY WITH THE ROMA PEOPLE - God does come to the rescue of the Roma people, who are often poor and oppressed. Many groups are working among the Roma in Transcarpathia; one is the Reformed Church in Transcarpathia. From a quiet beginning, the Lord started a great work through the ministry of his faithful servants in this church. We see the fire of the Holy Spirit working in many cities, including Talic, Szerney, Nagydobron, Gat, Szurta, and many others, where the church has Roma congregations and schooling programs. In these schools, Roma children, away from discrimination, learn about God’s love and his plan for them.
