MIDLAND, TEXAS -
Though self-described “clean comedian” Elijah Tindall is inspired by his Christian faith, he said he doesn’t fit into the category of “Christian comedian.”

“My jokes aren’t like, ‘Jesus jokes,’” he said. “I don’t have church bits. The stuff I do works just as well in West Hollywood as it does on a Sunday morning. The content is family-based, experience-based, observational lifestyle comedy. It helps connect generations together.”

Tindall, who hails from Southern California, will visit Midland next week to perform for the single adults ministry at First Baptist Church. The show will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church, 2104 W. Louisiana Ave. Admission is $7. Free child care is provided. To register, email singles@fbc-midland.org
