ODESSA, TEXAS - Many churches are preparing for fall festivals or are wrapping one up this weekend.
Salvation Army leaders are looking past Halloween — all the way to Christmas. The non-profit is in desperate need of volunteers.
That need could be filled by Odessa churches.
Odessa Salvation Army Lt. Joe Contreras mailed 173 letters Friday to Odessa churches and another 50 to local businesses.
