ODESSA, TEXAS - Most Odessa churches are busy enough with traditional activities, but a number of them are addressing things like divorce, grief, addiction and helping released prison inmates.
Citing scriptures, they say people in pain or difficulty need someone to show them the love of God before they can deal with their problems.
Crossroads Fellowship Life Care Pastor Al Workman said the seven-week program on divorce that his church offers free three times a year “enables individuals not just to go through divorce but to grow through their situation" ...
