ODESSA, TEXAS - The Texas Prison System [Texas Department of Criminal Justice] is attempting to make it easier to visit loved ones behind bars.

CBS 7 sat down with a missionary dedicated to the support and restoration of prisoners and their families, to find out what changes have been made in recent months.

Leland Maples, a founder of Loved Ones of Prisoners, has been serving through this ministry for over 25 years in West Texas. He said he's seen drastic changes in the way that the Texas Prison Systems accommodate families who travel to see their loved ones ...
