Today in the PC-USA Mission Yearbook

The Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. How often have you wondered, where are the young adults in the PC(USA)? Wonder no longer. The 2014 Presbyterian Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is devoted to the theme of young adults in the church. PRESBYTERY OF UTAH - Mount is an alternative gathering tasked with reimagining the traditional definitions of worship and faith to try to reach an audience that has little or no interest in traditional church. Many of the Mount’s regulars are mature followers of Jesus, but others are not: the Mount has a diverse mix of people at different places in their faith journey.

One such person is Alex, 25, a geographic information systems specialist. After serving his Mormon mission, Alex says he “felt disillusioned with Mormonism and more or less didn’t believe in God” ...
