MIDLAND, TEXAS - First United Methodist Church will kick off its Christmas celebration this weekend with its One Night in Bethlehem event, leading up to the first of two Christmas concerts featuring American Idol finalist Lakisha Jones and multiple Dove award nominee Plumb, respectively.
The free One Night in Bethlehem event will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with tours beginning every 15 minutes.
"It’s everywhere,” said Denise Carrell, media design and communications manager at First Methodist. “We go through the whole church. It’s a little disruptive, but it’s very fun. It wanders all over the church and it will end in a blessing in the chapel” ...
