In the News ... "Students Help Save ECISD's Annual Poinsettia Sale"

ODESSA, TEXAS - Some students in Ector County help save a holiday tradition for the school district, after the school's green house faces unexpected problems. Every year students raise a greenhouse full of poinsettias at ECISD's advanced technical center. Horticultural Teacher Kori Heath explains they're a complex flower to grow.

"While they're growing if we don't keep the atmosphere correct in the greenhouse, then we do have the possibility of losing a bunch of our crop," explained ECISD Horticulture Teacher Kori Heath.
