MIDLAND, TEXAS - Thanksgiving was still a couple of days away but the spirit of giving ws already in full swing. On Tuesday, a local church passed out dozens of turkeys to families in need.
This year, a younger generation carried on the tradition.
"We're gonna go pray to the families in need and we're gonna go deliver their turkeys," Rosa Rodriguez said.
The youth group at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church knocked on doors and handed out a Thanksgiving meal to those who otherwise might've gone without.
