MIDLAND, TEXAS - They call it a “miracle in the making.”
On Easter Sunday 2011, Don and Geri Lilly held the first service of their new church, Home Line Baptist Church, in a repurposed woodworking shop behind their home. They had about eight members, including themselves.
A year earlier, Don had received a “calling from God” that there needed to be an individual Baptist church on the north side of Midland. He launched Home Line in April 2011, and over the next two years, various pastors came and went.
